“Organizing Educational Programs in Museums” workshop at the Cafesjian Center for the Arts

“Organizing Educational Programs in Museums” workshop at the Cafesjian Center for the Arts (CCA) On May 11–13, 2016, a three-day workshopp titled “Organizing Educational Programs in Museums” was held at the Cafesjian Center for the Arts. More than twenty museum professionals from Yerevan, the regions of Armenia, and Artsakh took part in the workshop. The workshop was led by Alvard Grigoryan, Director of the History Museum of the Armenian State Pedagogical University and an expert of DVV International, and Astghik Marabyan, Director of Education at the Cafesjian Center for the Arts, who are the recent co-authors of the educational and methodological manual “Education in the Museum.” The workshop was organized by the Museum Education Center in cooperation with the Association of Museum Workers and Friends, the Armenian branch of DVV International and the Cafesjian Center for the Arts.
